Jo Willis-Bund - Foundation
Joint Chair; HAP, Head Teacher Appraisal, School Development
I grew up in Combe and moved back to the village 10 years ago with my family.  I have three children:  the youngest is in Year 6 at Combe School, and the elder two both went all the way through the school.  I am also a teacher myself, of English at secondary level, so I have a strong interest in education. I spent several years on the FOCS committee, one as Chair, and am delighted now to be helping with another side of the school by joining the governors.
Sharon O'Brien - Foundation
 Joint Chair; School Development
I have been a parent governor since April 2014,  and am the chair of the Health & Safety Sub-committee.  I have one son at the school and have lived in Combe for over  10 years.   I have always been very proud of our school and am delighted to see how children seem to thrive and develop in confidence in the school environment, whilst remaining polite and respectful to each other and the wider community.  I have never had a morning when my children said they didn’t want to go to school! I am a qualified solicitor and work 3 days a week in private practice. I think parent governors can and should provide that important link between parents and school, providing helpful and hopefully constructive feedback and advice so that the school can continue to provide an excellent all-round education for the  children, fully supported by the governors and parents.
